Vegas Golden Knights Exceeding Expectations
Ever since Las Vegas was awarded an NHL franchise, the big questions were how would the city receive it’s first major professional team and how would the team fare in its’ inaugural season? Those questions have been answered in a very positive fashion as the Vegas Golden Knights are the talk of town. The Knights are pulling the city together in support as they are off to a scintillating start, currently standing in first place in their division. The Knights are already creating memories for their fans at their home arena, T-Mobile arena, where they’ve beaten some of the top teams in the NHL, including last week’s dramatic win over the Tampa Bay Lightning when Shea Theodore scored and broke a 3-3 tie with two seconds left, giving the Knights the victory. Fans all over town are proudly wearing Knights gear and displaying Knights decals on their vehicles. Not to mention the fact that the Knights are poised to make the playoffs, perhaps even as division champions, in their first season, which would make NHL history. The Knights have already broken a couple of records for early season wins by an expansion team and are on pace to eclipse the record for most wins which is 33. Nobody could have predicted this and it’s great for the city of Las Vegas!
