Rebels Get Break Until Next Week
The UNLV Men’s Basketball team will get a much needed break this weekend. The Rebels don’t hit the court again until next Wednesday when they’ll face Coach Marvin Menzies’ former team, New Mexico, at 7pm at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV evened it’s Mountain West conference record at 2-2 as they survived a tough game at Air Force last Wednesday. Jovan Mooring hit a late three pointer to help the Rebels escape with a 81-76 win. The Rebels’ overall record now stands at 13-4. The schedule won’t get any easier for UNLV. After facing New Mexico, the Rebels next two games will be on the road. They’ll face Colorado State on Jan. 20 and Fresno State on Jan. 23. These next few games will be a true indicator of whether the Rebels are going to be real contenders in the Mountain West!
