Las Vegas Gears Up For “The Big Game”
First of all, let me be clear that I hate saying the “Big Game” but it is what it is. With that being said, Las Vegas is once again getting ready for one if its’ biggest weekends of the year as the “Big Game” takes place tomorrow with defending champion New England facing Philadelphia. New England will be looking for their sixth NFL championship. New England and Philadelphia faced each other before in the “Big Game” in 2005, with New England winning 24-21. Here in Las Vegas, we’ll be looking for another year of record visitation for the game as this is the best place to be without a doubt if you’re not actually going to the game, which this year is in freezing Minneapolis, Minnesota. Las Vegas sports books are again expecting record wagering on the game. As of this writing, New England is a four point favorite. Casinos up and down the Strip will be offering a variety of viewing parties and this should be a game that lives up to the hype. Oh, by the way, we’ll be looking for temperatures in the 70’s on Sunday!
