Steve Wynn Steps Down As CEO Of Wynn Resorts
Under fire for sexual misconduct allegations, Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn has announced he will resign as CEO of Wynn Resorts. He also resigned as chairman of Wynn Macau, which oversees his interests in the Chinese territory of Macau. Wynn has been under intense scrutiny after reports surfaced last month that he harrassed and pressured female employees into performing sex acts or having sex with him. The allegations were published late last month by the Wall Street Journal and date back for decades. Wynn has denied all allegations and said that his wife , Elaine Wynn is out to smear him as they are going through a nasty divorce. Wynn resigned as chairman of the Republican National Committee within days of the release of the report. Wynn will be replaced by Matt Maddox, who has been president of Wynn resorts since 2013.
