Knights To Face Washington In Stanley Cup Finals
Our hometown heroes, the Vegas Golden Knights, will take on the Washington Capitals in the Stanley Cup Finals. Washington beat Tampa Bay 4-0 in game seven of the Eastern Conference finals on Wednesday night to earn the right to face the Knights. Washington’s win means that Vegas will have home ice advantage during the finals which will start on Monday with game one at T-Mobile Arena at 5pm and game two on Wednesday. Having home ice will be a decided advantage for the Knights, knowing that they just have to win at home to bring the Stanley Cup to Vegas. The Knights were 2-0 against Washington during the regular season. This will be Washington’s first trip to the finals since 1998. Of course the Knights are making history as an expansion team making it to the finals in their first year. Let’s take nothing for granted, beating the Capitals will be a tall order for the Knights but we know that they are ready for the challenge! Lets’s enjoy Memorial Day weekend and get ready for Monday, it’s gonna be crazy!
