Big Test For Golden Knights Tonight In Washington
In their inaugural season, the Vegas Golden Knights have exceeded all expectations and are playing for the Stanley Cup. Let that sink in for a moment. Las Vegas has a professional sports team playing for the championship. Unthinkable. So far the Knights have set records and have risen to every challenge. Tonight they face their biggest test of the season in game three of the Stanley Cup Finals. By letting the Washington Capitals escape with a game two win at T-Mobile on Tuesday night, the Knights no longer have home ice advantage and will have to win a game in Washington to regain it. A good omen is that the Knights are 6-2 on the road so far this postseason, winning games in L.A., San Jose, and Winnipeg. The Knights seemed just a bit out of sync in game two and were still only inches away from tying the game with two minutes to go, and have played well after a defeat during the playoffs. The task is clear, win one game in Washington, get back home ice, win at home, and bring the Stanley Cup to Vegas!
