Knights Let Sharks Off Hook, Game 6 Sunday At T-Mobile
The Vegas Golden Knights tried mightily to end their playoff series with the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night but it wasn’t enough as the Sharks stayed alive with a 5-2 win. Vegas will now try to close out the series on Sunday at T-Mobile Arena. San Jose jumped out to an early 2-0 first period lead in game five and fans all over town were urging the Knights on when they pulled to within a goal of tying the game at 3-2 in the third period. However, Vegas’ Jonathan Marchessault was called for a high sticking penalty and San Jose scored on the ensuing power play to stave off elimination. The puck drop time for Sunday’s game six hasn’t been announced yet but rest assured it’ll be another raucous home crowd for the Knights and this writer says Vegas will get the job done and oust the Sharks on Sunday!
