A nice win followed by an ugly loss. A blowout win followed by an exasperating defeat. This was the pattern of the early part of the Las Vegas Aces’ season. After their rocky start, the Aces have seemingly righted the ship and heading towards the All-Star break, have the best record in the WNBA at 10-5. Three Las Vegas players have been selected to play in the All-Star game; A’ja Wilson, who is the Western Conference All-Star team captain, Liz Cambage, and Kayla McBride. The All-Star game is July 27 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Ironically, Aces head coach Bill Laimbeer will coach the Eastern Conference All-Stars. In the meantime, the Aces still have 4 games left before the break, starting with tomorrow night’s road game against the Mystics. The Aces will have back to back home games before the All-Star game, July 21 against the Lynx and July 23 vs. the Storm.
