Being back at Wimbledon has brought out the best in Serena Williams. She has played great tennis during this year’s tournament and has advanced to the ladies’s final tomorrow morning. The 37 year old Serena will face Simona Halep in the final. Serena will be shooting for her eighth Wimbledon championship and is seeking to win her 24th major title to tie Margaret Court’s record. Serena has beaten Halep 9 times out of 10 matches and this will be Halep’s first Wimbledon final. Serena has lost her last two major finals, falling to Angelique Kerber in last year’s Wimbledon final and losing to Naomi Osaka in last year’s U.S. Open final. A lot tennis fans were hoping to see Serena face 15 year old sensation Coco Gauff, but Gauff’s run ended in the quarterfinal round. It should be a great match tomorrow morning as Serena tries to make history.
