Playing without injured forward A’ja Wilson, the Las Vegas Aces came back from the All Star break in fine form as they cruised to an 86-54 win over the Dallas Wings at Mandalay Bay Events Center last night. Tamera Young and Dearica Hamby each tallied 18 points, and Jackie Young dished out eight assists for Las Vegas. The Aces are tied with Connecticut for the best record in the WNBA at 14-6 and have won eight of their last nine games. The next two games for the Aces are on the road. They’ll travel to L.A. to take on the Sparks tomorrow at 7pm and have a rematch with Dallas on Saturday at 5pm. A’ja Wilson, who sprained her ankle right before the All Star game, is out of her walking boot but there’s still no timetable for her return.
