“Hobbs And Shaw” Tops Weekend Movie Box Office
The “Fast and Furious” spinoff movie “Hobbs and Shaw,” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jason Statham, and Idris Elba, topped the nationwide box office this past weekend, taking in over 60 million dollars. The action film has also gotten pretty good reviews. “The Lion King” came in second place, taking in over 38 million dollars in it’s third week in theaters. The Quentin Tarantino film “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” took in $20 million over the weekend to come in third place. “Spiderman: Far From Home” came in fourth and “Toy Story 4” was fifth.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
