Why One Mom Dreads Sending Her Kids Back to School
Summer means the kids are out of school and a house that usually includes screaming matches, late nights, and tons of junk food eating, but unlike some mothers who can’t wait for the first day of school, one mother says she’s “taking it all in” before Summer ends. In an article on Popsugar.com, a mother details how slow mornings of being able to sip coffee and watch her kids play without having to beat the clock to get them ready for school is something she enjoys. Her children, who are ages 4 and 6, aren’t into organized sports or attending camps quite yet, so planning time for playing outside, going swimming and catching fireflies gives her the chance to spend time with her kids before they grow older and less interested in hanging out with mom and dad.
