On the same day that construction crews placed the final steel beam into place during a “topping out” ceremony at the Raiders new stadium, officials for the Raiders announced that a sponsorship deal has been reached with Allegiant Air and the stadium will be called Allegiant Stadium. The announcement was made before a host of dignitaries and fans by Raiders president Marc Badain. The stadium is on track to be completed in time for the start of the 2020 NFL season. The stadium will also host the 2020 Las Vegas Bowl and the Pac-12 football championship games in 2020 and 2021.
