The Las Vegas Aces have safely clinched a playoff spot but their quest to have one of the league’s top two records and get a double bye has taken a huge hit. The Aces lost their third game in a row, falling last night on the road, 86-71 to the Indiana Fever. Vegas played sluggishly the entire game, trailing by 14 points at the end of the first quarter and by 20 points at halftime. The Aces fell to 19-12 on the season and fell to second place in the Western Conference behind Los Angeles, who they’ll play on Saturday in their final home game of the season.
