The UNLV Rebels football team opened their season with a resounding home win on Saturday, pounding Southern Utah 56-23. The Rebels ran for seven TD’s while rushing for 331 yards, led by running back Charles Williams, who totaled 144 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. UNLV led 35-7 at halftime. The Rebels’ next game is this Saturday when they’ll be at home to face Arkansas State, which beat the Rebels last season 27-20. Needless to say, UNLV will be out for revenge!
