We’ve waited all summer for the return of NFL football and the opening Sunday of the regular season was well worth the wait. Most of the big name teams had big wins with Dallas pounding rival New York, New England dismantling Pittsburgh, and Kansas City easily handling Jacksonville. San Francisco picked up a road win over Tampa Bay, Buffalo did likewise over New York, and Tennessee brought the early season buzz over Cleveland to a screeching halt. Both Los Angeles teams were winners, Philadelphia came back against Washington, and Seattle squeaked by with a one point win over Cincinnati. Tonight features a Monday night doubleheader with New Orleans at home against Houston and Oakland at home vs. Denver. The big news of the weekend was wide receiver Antonio Brown being released by Oakland and getting signed less than an hour later by New England. They say the rich get richer. Hopefully your team made you proud!
