The UNLV Rebels football team ended their four game losing streak in emphatic fashion on Saturday with a dominating 34-10 road win over Vanderbilt. The victory was absolutely huge for the UNLV football program and equally sweet because up until Saturday, the Rebels had never beaten an SEC team on the road. Vanderbilt was a 14 1/2 point favorite over the Rebels. UNLV ran for 211 yards on the ground and racked up 383 yards of total offense. Kenyon Oblad got his second start at quarterback in place of the injured Armani Rogers. Oblad was solid, going 11-16 passing for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Unheralded running back Chad Magyar rushed for 116 yards and a score on 22 carries for the Rebels. Next up for the Rebels is another road game on Friday at 7pm against Fresno State.
