The Vegas Golden Knights got a much needed win last night at T-Mobile Arena, beating Ottawa 3-2 in a shootout. Vegas held a 2-1 lead going into the third period but Ottawa managed to tie the game early in the period. Jonathan Marchessault scored the winning goal for the Knights in the shootout. Vegas improved to 5-3 on the season with the win. The Knights now embark on a three game road trip, starting with a game tomorrow at 4pm PDT against Pittsburgh, and then traveling to Philadelphia to play the Flyers on Monday, also at 4pm PDT.
