The Las Vegas Raiders added a veteran presence on defense to their roster as they signed cornerback Prince Amukamara to a one year deal. Amukamara was a first round pick of the New York Giants for which he played five seasons. He played one year for Jacksonville and spent the last three years with Chicago. He has 10 interceptions in his career and will be 31 years old next month. Amukamara will be expected to start at cornerback and help mentor the Raiders’ group of young defensive backs. Amukamara’s career has been slightly plagued by injuries but he has played in 30 out of 32 games the last two seasons.
