Las Vegas sports is making history again today with an AHL team name reveal.

Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley announced on Tuesday that the team will unveil its Henderson AHL team name today at the Orleans Casino at 7pm, according to its press release.

The hour-long “Reveal Knight” special will be broadcasted by News 3 Las Vegas and by official Vegas Golden Knights Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Twitch accounts.

“Three short years ago we were gearing up to unveil the NHL’s newest franchise: The Vegas Golden Knights,” said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. “Today, we’re more than excited to find ourselves back where we started as we prepare to launch our new AHL franchise in Henderson.”

The Vegas Golden Knights purchased the AHL team San Antonio Rampage back in February, according to its February press release.

Since then the AHL approved the purchase and relocation of that team.
