After suffering a heartbreaking two point loss in their WNBA season opener against Chicago last Sunday, the Las Vegas Aces rebounded in stellar fashion last night, demolishing the Atlanta Dream 100-70 in Bradenton, Fla. Five players scored in double figures for the Aces, led by star forward A’ja Wilson with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Dearica Hamby added 20 points and seven rebounds and Kayla McBride scored 14 points for Las Vegas. The Aces shot six of nine from the three point line after not making any against Chicago. Aces center Liz Cambage is sitting out the season for health reasons and the team has been rebounding well in her absence. Las Vegas outrebounded Atlanta 47-25. The Aces next game is Friday at 7pm against Phoenix in Bradenton.
