CCSD Continues Free Breakfast And Lunch For Kids Through August 21
CCSD is continuing its’ free breakfast and lunch program for kids while schools are closed for the summer. The program will run through August 21 and CCSD is planning to implement another meal program when the fall semester begins, even though fall classes will online only. The summer program provides meals Monday through Friday from 7am-10am. Distribution locations are at most Las Vegas area high schools including Basic, Cheyenne, Del Sol, Clark, Valley, Chaparral, Canyon Springs, Desert Pines, Cimarron, Sierra Vista, Silverado, Centennial, Mojave, Eldorado, Green Valley, Shadow Ridge, Sunrise Mountain, Sandy Valley, and Indian Springs. Distribution sites are also at some elementary and middle schools including, West Prep, Matt Kelly, Manch, Burkholder, Elaine Wynn, Dean Petersen, A-Tech, and Jim Bridger. Some of the middle and elementary school locations only distribute on Tuesdays and Thursdays, high school locations distribute Monday through Friday.
