Aces On Roll, Win Fifth Straight

The Las Vegas Aces continued their hot streak, winning their fifth game in a row, pounding Indiana 98-79 in Bradenton, FL. Vegas had six players in double figures led by Angel McCoughtry with with 20 points. McCoughtry shot 9-of-10 from the floor. Jackie Young scored 17 points, Kayla McBride had 15, and A’ja Wilson added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Aces. Vegas turned up the defense against Indiana, holding the Fever to 20 points in the second half. The Aces improved their record to 6-2 and trail first place Seattle by one game in the WNBA Western Conference standings. Vegas plays against Minnesota today at 6pm. Minnesota is tied for second place in the standings with Vegas.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
