Knights Win In OT, Go Up 2-0 On Chicago

Reilly Smith took a pass from Paul Stastny and fired in the game winning goal from point blank range as the Golden Knights beat Chicago 4-3 in OT and took a 2-0 in their Western Conference quarterfinal series. The goal was Smith’s third of the playoffs and he leads the Knights in playoff scoring. Vegas had leads in the game of 2-0 and 3-2 but couldn’t hold them. Stastny had a first period goal to go with his assist and Tomas Nosek and Mark Stone each tallied a goal for the Knights, who outshot Chicago 39-25. Game 5 is Saturday at 5pm at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta and game 4 is Sunday at 3:30pm.
