It’s National Radio Day, and we’ve compiled a list of some of the hip-hop songs that changed the game in the 2010s. Below, take a look.

• “Old Town Road”

  In 2019, Lil Nas X released his hit country-rap song "Old Town Road." The song went viral on Tik Tok and became an overnight sensation. It topped Billboard's Hot 100 and remained there for thirteen weeks.

• “Super Bass”

  Nicki Minaj released "Super Bass" in 2011. It derived from her debut album "Pink Friday," which was released in 2010. The song peaked at number 3 on Billboard's Hot 100.

• “Versace”

  In July of 2013, Migos dropped their hit record "Versace," which referenced the high-end fashion brand of the same name. Produced by Zaytoven, the track came from the hip-hop trio's mixtape Y.R.N. Drake ended up doing a Canadian remix for the song.
• “Hotline Bling”

  Released in 2015, "Hotline Bling" was the lead single on Drake's 2016 album "Views." The track reached number two on Billboard's Hot 100. "Hot Line Bling" also garnered two Grammy Awards and one American Music Award.

• “Big Ole Freak”

  Megan Thee Stallion made her splash onto the hip-hop scene in 2018 with her single "Big Ole Freak." The song derived from her mixtape "Tina Snow," and became a break out single for the Houston native.

• “F—in’ Problems”

  In 2012, ASAP Rocky dropped his single "F---in' Problems" featuring Drake, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar. It was the second single from the Harlem rapper's debut studio album Long. Live. ASAP.
• “Bodak Yellow”

  In 2018, Cardi B dropped one of her biggest hits, "Bodak Yellow." The infectious track topped Billboard's Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks. The viral single received nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the 60th Grammy Awards.

  In 2015, Fetty Wap released his single "Trap Queen," which came from his self-titled debut album. It became the rapper's first entry on Billboard's Hot 100. It also went on to become a top 10 hit.

  In 2017, Kendrick Lamar dropped his single "Humble. "Produced by Mike Will Made It, the track became Lamar's second number one single on Billboard's Hot 100.
• “I Like It”

  Cardi B released her single "I Like It' featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin in 2018. It's a Latin trap song that topped the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the Bronx rapper's second number one single. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 causing Cardi to make history, becoming the first woman rapper to do so.
