After dispatching Portland in the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers have been resting and waiting to see who they’re going to play next. That opponent will be the Houston Rockets, who eliminated Oklahoma City on Wednesday night 104-102. This shapes up to be a great series with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading L.A. against Houston’s potent duo of James Harden and Russell Westbrook. The Lakers should benefit a little from the rest they’ve been getting while it took Houston seven games to oust pesky Oklahoma City. Game one is Friday at 6pm with game two set for Sunday at 5:30pm. In the other Western Conference semifinal, Los Angeles’ other team, the Clippers, will face the Denver Nuggets. Game one is tonight at 6pm. The Clippers have also been resting while it took Denver seven games to eliminate Utah.
