The Las Vegas Aces ended the WNBA’s pandemic shortened 22 game regular season in scintillating fashion on Sunday, topping Seattle 86-84 on A’ja Wilson’s jumper with 17 seconds left. Wilson finished with 23 points and seven rebounds. The Aces finished the season tied with Seattle for first place in the Western Conference and for the league’s best record at 18-4. Vegas earned the top seed in the playoffs by virtue of the win over Seattle. The Aces now have a double bye in the upcoming playoffs and won’t play again until the conference semifinals, which start on Sunday. Way to go, ladies! As for the Golden Knights, it’s very simple…win tonight or go home. Vegas faces a 3-1 deficit against Dallas in the Western Conference finals and needs to win tonight to keep their season alive. Game time is 5pm in Edmonton and the game will be televised on NBCSN.
