The Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday used a bruising ground game and an opportunistic defense to take apart the Denver Broncos 37-12 at Allegiant Stadium. Jeff Heath intercepted two passes and the Raiders ran for 203 yards on the ground including 112 yards on 21 carries and two TD’s from Josh Jacobs. Devin Booker added 81 yards on 16 carries with a touchdown for Vegas. The win improved the Raiders record to 6-3 with Kansas City coming in next week. The Chiefs will be looking for revenge from their loss to the Raiders earlier this season at Arrowhead. Kansas City has already been installed as seven point favorites with a total of 54 1/2. The Raiders defense could be at a disadvantage as the team announced on Wednesday that defensive end Clelin Ferrell tested positive for Covid-19 and subsequently the team placed nine other players on the Covid reserve list. Those “high risk contact” players could be eligible to play on Sunday if they continue to test negative but they’ll play without the benefit of practice.
