We’re Going To Get Charlie Brown For Thanksgiving And Xmas After All
After some serious outcry over the decision to show the annual Charlie Brown holiday specials only on streaming platform Apple TV, Apple TV has announced that it’s partnering with PBS to show “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on local broadcast TV. The specials will air on PBS (Channel 10 in Las Vegas) with “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” scheduled to air on Nov. 22 and “Charlie Brown Xmas” on Dec. 13. Both specials will air commercial free. Apple TV will still show both of the specials as well, with free streaming available for “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” from Nov. 25-27 and “Charlie Brown Xmas” Dec. 11-13. Upon learning that the Charlie Brown specials were only going to be shown on Apple TV, hundreds of thousands of fans signed a petition on Change.org and Apple TV acquiesced. So get your popcorn, jelly beans and toast ready for Thanksgiving and then get ready to find a good Christmas tree, Charlie Brown!
