UNLV Football To Play Wyoming Today At Allegiant Stadium

The UNLV football team, still seeking its’ first win, will play Wyoming at 1pm today at Allegiant Stadium. The Rebels game last week against Colorado State was cancelled because UNLV had four players test positive for Covid-19. UNLV head coach Marcus Arroyo said at one point the team was missing about 49 guys due to contact tracing. Wyoming hasn’t played since Nov. 5 because of game cancellations due to positive tests in the Air Force and Utah State programs. Wyoming is favored by 16 1/2 points in the game. Limited fans will be allowed at the game. UNLV’s record is 0-4 while Wyoming comes in with a record of 1-2.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
