Raiders Get Steamrolled By Atlanta
It must’ve been a hangover from a heartbreaking loss last week to Kansas City. Whatever it was, it wasn’t pretty as the Las Vegas Raiders got shellacked in Atlanta on Sunday by the Falcons 43-6. The Raiders came out flat and never got going on offense. Five turnovers by Las Vegas didn’t help matters either. The Raiders fumbled on their second possession and opened the third quarter with quarterback David Carr throwing an interception that was returned 67 yards for a score by Atlanta. Las Vegas also committed 11 penalties for 141 yards. The loss dropped the Raiders record to 6-5. The Raiders will be on the road again next Sunday when they travel to New York to face the winless Jets. Let’s hope the Raiders can get it together and avoid losing to a winless team.
