Greyhound Bus Station Downtown To Be Redeveloped
In a joint venture with the Plaza Hotel downtown and the City of Las Vegas, the Greyhound bus station on Main Street will be redeveloped. The CEO of the Plaza, Jonathan Jossel, outlined plans to redevelop the building that currently houses the bus station and the area around it. Plans include dining, entertainment, and retail options and the construction of a pedestrian pathway and bridge connecting the Plaza Hotel to Symphony Park. The current Greyhound bus terminal will be vacated by the middle of next year and Greyhound officials say the company does plan to remain in Vegas and plans for the relocation of the bus terminal are ongoing.
