UNLV Football Ends Season Winless
The UNLV football team’s season came to an end on Saturday night in Hawaii with a 38-21 loss to the Rainbow Warriors. In head coach Marcus Arroyo’s first season, the Rebels finished 0-6. Two of UNLV’s games were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Rebels did have a couple of bright spots in the game as they gained 463 yards of offense, led by running back Charles Williams, who gained 148 yards rushing on 22 carries with two touchdowns. The Rebels defense however allowed Hawaii to gain 278 yards on the ground including five rushing touchdowns. Coach Arroyo said after the game that he was proud of the team’s fight and saw some good things to build on.
