The Vegas Golden Knights will be back on the ice in less than a month as the NHL and the players association agreed on a 56 game schedule with the season set to begin on Jan. 13. The regular season will end on May 8 with the playoffs expected to end around mid July. Training camp for the Knights will begin on Jan. 3 at City National Arena and there will be no exhibition games. Individual team schedules haven’t been released yet but the new season will feature a realignment of divisions. The Knights will play in a division with Anaheim, Arizona, Colorado, Los Angeles, Minnesota, San Jose, and St. Louis. The seven Canadian teams will have their own division as the border between the U.S. and Canada remains closed for non-essential travel. As of now the Knights will play home games at T-Mobile Arena but it’s unsure yet if any fans will be allowed to attend. The Knights first game will be Jan. 14 at T-Mobile vs. Anaheim.
