The UNLV men’s basketball team will be back in action tonight after a monthlong shutdown due to cases of Covid-19 within the program. The Runnin’ Rebels will kick off a two game series against Colorado State tonight at 5pm in Fort Collins. UNLV will play Colorado State again on Saturday at 1pm. The Runnin’ Rebels last played a game on Dec. 5, beating Kansas State for their first win of the season after an 0-4 start. UNLV head coach T.J. Otzelberger tested positive for Covid-19 during the second week of December and the Rebels shut down all basketball activities on Dec. 15. UNLV has had to cancel a total of six games during the hiatus. Tonight’s game will be televised on CBSSN and will be on the radio on KWWN 1100 AM. Colorado State comes into the game with a record of 6-2.
