The Clark County School District announced on Wednesday evening that a plan is in place to bring students in grades Pre-K to third grade back to school on a hybrid plan starting on March 1. Teachers and staff will be asked to return a week earlier to prepare. Parents who want their kids to go back to class are being asked to fill out a hybrid cohort questionnaire and submit it before 6pm on Friday. The questionnaire can be found at ccsd.net/survey. Under the hybrid plan, students would attend in person classes two days a week and have in home learning the other three days. The school district says that plans are in place to transition students in higher grades to the hybrid plan but no timeline is imminent. The district will implement all necessary health and safety protocols for teachers, support staff, and students.
