After getting leading scorer Bryce Hamilton back on Saturday night from an ankle injury and having him lead them to a win over Air Force, the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels were hoping for more of the same on Monday night. Hamilton got into foul trouble though and went to the bench with his fourth foul and the Rebels trailing by two with 13:25 to play. Guard David Jenkins took over from there, scoring 20 of his 26 points and leading the Rebels to a 69-64 win. Hamilton added 14 points for UNLV. The Rebels, who improved their record to 5-5 in the Mountain West and 8-9 overall, will now move on to play a two game set at Boise State, with the first game on Thursday at 7pm.
