Golden Knights Give Up Last Second Goal, Lose To Colorado
The Colorado Avalanche scored the game winning goal off a faceoff with 40 seconds left in the game and went on to top the Golden Knights 3-2 on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena. Jonathan Marchessault and Max Pacioretty each tallied a goal for the Knights, who remained in first place in the Western Division with a record of 10-3-1. No fans have been allowed at Knights home games so far but the team has submitted a plan to city and state officials to allow 20 percent capacity. The Knights and Colorado will continue their four game series on Saturday at an outdoor rink at Lake Tahoe as part of the NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe event.
