Downtown Greyhound Bus Station Closes

The Greyhound Bus Station downtown on Main Street closed on Tuesday for good. The bus station has been moved to the RTC’s South Strip Transfer Terminal on Sunset Road near McCarran Airport. The old Greyhound station is going to be redeveloped by the Plaza Hotel and the City of Las Vegas and will include new dining and retail options along with a new pedestrian bridge connecting the Plaza to Symphony Park. The new Greyhound station on Sunset Rd. is already in operation.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
