The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels open Mountain West conference tourney play today with a first round game against Air Force at 1:30pm at the Thomas & Mack Center. The winner will play Utah State on Thursday. Unfortunately, no fans will be allowed at the games. UNLV finished the regular season with a record of 11-14 overall and 8-10 in the Mountain West. The Rebels lost their regular season finale to Wyoming. The UNLV Lady Rebels had a good regular season under first year coach Lindy LaRocque but lost their conference tourney opener to Wyoming. The Lady Rebels finished the regular season with a record of 15-8 overall and 13-5 in the Mountain West. LaRocque was named Mountain West Coach of the Year.
