The Vegas Golden Knights scored four goals in the third period on Wednesday night at T-Mobile Arena to rally back from a 3-1 deficit and stun San Jose 5-4. It was the unsung players for Vegas who led the charge. Cody Glass started the comeback with a power play goal to pull the Knights within 3-2. Nick Hague scored to tie the game and Ryan Reaves shoved home a rebound to give Vegas the lead with eight minutes to play. Alex Martinez scored a power play goal to give the Knights a 5-3 lead with six minutes left. San Jose scored on a power play with four minutes to go but Marc-Andre Fleury stood tall in goal and the Knights held off the Sharks’ final charge. The Knights wore green jerseys during warmups in honor of St. Patrick’s Day and 3,473 fans were in attendance. Vegas now hits the road to open a two game series with the L.A. Kings starting with a game on Friday night at 7pm and a 3pm Sunday matinee.
