Las Vegas newest resort, Virgin Hotels is set to open today at 6pm. Formerly the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the entire property has been renovated and rebranded. The new resort has a desert motif…gone are the display cases featuring stage outfits and musical instruments of rock stars. The iconic Center Bar is gone and is now an open space on the casino floor. The Joint concert venue has been renovated and will be renamed once concerts are given the go ahead to return. The resort will feature newly renovated guest rooms and suites and will offer a variety of dining options. The popular Rehab pool and dayclub is no more but the resort will have a pool with a new dayclub called Elia set to open later this spring. The resort will also have free self parking and no resort fees. Virgin Hotels is also bringing back hundreds of former Hard Rock employees who were given the option to wait out the renovations and return to their jobs once the new resort was ready for opening.
