Knights Win Eighth Straight, Clinch Playoffs
The Vegas Golden Knights became the first team in the NHL to clinch a playoff berth on Wednesday night as they won their eighth game in a row, beating San Jose 5-2 at T-Mobile Arena. Jonathan Marchessault tallied two goals and two assists to pace the Knights, who overcame deficits of 1-0 and 2-1. Vegas is firmly back in first place in the Western Division with a record of 33-11-2, four points ahead of Colorado. The Knights travel to Anaheim to face the Ducks on Saturday at 6:30pm.

Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
