Knights Smite Montreal In Game One
The Vegas Golden Knights got their semifinal playoff series against Montreal off to a great start on Monday night in front of a sellout crowd at T-Mobile Arena, beating the Canadiens 4-1. The Knights jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Shea Theodore and Alec Martinez. Montreal got a power play goal but Vegas got scores from Mattias Janmark and Nick Holden to seal the deal. Marc-Andre Fleury was superb again in goal for the Knights, turning back a number of furious shot attempts by the Canadiens. Fleury finished with 28 saves. Game two of the series is Wednesday night at 6pm at T-Mobile Arena.
