Aces Back In Action This Weekend

After helping the U.S. Olympic Women’s basketball team bring home the gold along with a gold medal for the women’s three-on-three team, A’ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray, and Kelsey Plum will rejoin their Las Vegas Aces teammates as the WNBA season resumes this weekend. The Aces will play back to back home games against the Washington Mystics on Sunday and Tuesday at Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay. Game time Sunday is 3pm and Tuesday’s game starts at 7pm. The Aces resume the season in second place in the Western Conference with a record of 15-6, trailing first place Seattle by only one game. After the two game home stand against Washington the Aces will face a tough stretch with four of the next five games on the road.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
