The Vegas Golden Knights lost 4-2 to Carolina on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena, snapping their winning streak at three.
There was no shame in losing to Carolina as the Hurricane came into the game with a record of 11-2. Vegas managed to hang with Carolina through the first two periods and the game was tied 2-2 going into the third period before the Hurricane pulled away.
The Knights, still dealing with a myriad of injuries, went into the game even more short handed as both Jonathan Marchessault and William Carrier were placed on the Covid protocol list, Carrier on Monday and Marchessault right before the game.
Vegas continues its’ homestand on Thursday night at T-Mobile Arena as Detroit comes to town. Game time is 7pm. The Knights will wrap up the six game homestand on Saturday night against Columbus.
