Kenny Lee, CEO Of Lee’s Liquor, Killed In Car Crash
Kenny Lee, the CEO of Lee’s Discount Liquor, was killed in a car crash in Northern Nevada last Friday morning. Lee was traveling on U.S. Highway 93 between West Wendover and Ely when his minivan suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic and sideswiped a pickup truck. Lee wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene.
Lee’s Discount Liquor has a location in West Wendover and an employee at the store said that Lee had visited that location last week.
Lee’s death comes just months after his father and founder of the chain, Hae Un Lee, passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
A vigil to honor Lee will be held this Friday at the Lee’s Discount Liquor location at 7291 W. Azure Dr. at 9:30am.
