Nicki Minaj Fires Back At Husband’s Accuser
Nicki Minaj is firing back at the woman who is accusing her and her husband of harassment. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper’s lawyers responded to Jennifer Hough’s lawsuit claiming that Nicki, Kenneth Petty, and their legal team were trying to have Hough recant her attempted rape claim against Petty, which Petty was convicted for in the ’90s.
Nicki’s team is asking the court to sanction Hough for what they say are blatant falsehoods, which they think she made in an attempt to get a payout from the rapper, the outlet reports.
Nicki’s team is calling Hough out on the claim that she had to change her phone number due to alleged harassment and that the rapper’s team contacted Hough’s brother with a $500k offer if she were to recant her statement.
The attorney for the rapper says that Hough actually reached out to Nicki in an alleged text message reading, “US Marshalls are asking questions!!!” The attorney suggests that Hough wasn’t actually scared of Nicki, contrary to what Hough alleges.
In an interview earlier this year, Nicki’s attorney says that what Hough said in the interview differs from what Hough said in the legal documents filed. Nicki’s team recants the claim that Nicki was behind the $500k offer that Hough’s brother was offered and that it is mere speculation. Nicki’s lawyer believes that Hough is using the claim on grounds to sue the rapper.
