Las Vegas To Be Super In 2024
The NFL has awarded Las Vegas Super Bowl LVIII for 2024. The game will be played at Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024.
The game was originally scheduled to be played in New Orleans but because the NFL has added an extra week to the schedule that date would have conflicted with the annual Mardi Gras celebration in the “Big Easy.” New Orleans decided to surrender Super Bowl LVIII but Super Bowl LIX will be held in New Orleans in 2025.
Ever since Allegiant Stadium was completed Las Vegas has been in the running as a potential Super Bowl site and getting the game for 2024 is a huge win for the city. Las Vegas is already set to host the Pro Bowl at Allegiant on Feb. 6 next year and the NFL Draft will be held here April 28-30.
An official announcement is expected on Wednesday.
