Kanye Won’t Be Allowed To Tour In Australia Unless He’s Fully Vaccinated
Looks like Kanye is going to have to hold off on touring in Australia until he gets fully vaccinated.
Ye is set to release his eleventh studio album, Donda 2, next month and with the new project, he is reportedly planning a tour which is set to include Australian dates, according to Complex.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia is firm on his COVID-19 vaccination stance and even star power won’t let Morrison break the rules.
“The rules are you have to be fully vaccinated,” Morrison said during a news conference over the weekend, according to The Independent.
He continued: “They apply to everybody, as people have seen most recently,” referring to the deportation of tennis star Novak Djokovic, who was kicked out of the country prior to the Australian Open for being unvaccinated. “It doesn’t matter who you are, they are the rules,” Morrison added. “Follow the rules, you can come. You don’t follow the rules, you can’t.”
During an appearance on the podcast Drink Champs in November, West revealed that he’d taken one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, but he didn’t state if or when he will get the second.“I traveled to Paris, like, a couple weeks ago and I had to go through Lisbon because you can go through Lisbon without being vaccinated,” he said. “I only have one of the shots, so I’m half-ccinated.”
However, it is not confirmed whether Ye will take his alleged tour to Australia.
